Alastar Remshot, raised in one of the most affluent families in the city of Fanghel, is expected to attend the prestigious Fang Heller Flight Academy, an elite school that trains magical soldiers to wield the power of the cosmos with devices called Geminus Gloves. Detective Paylin Knox is tasked with investigating these disappearances in the Farmoth District, home to the poor who can’t afford Geminus Gloves, and soon finds himself on the trail of a mysterious, cult-like group known as Mors Deus. Neither Alastar and his new friends nor Paylin could expect just how deep this mystery goes—or who is involved.
